Conferences provide annual updates for Iowa bankers on hot topics, emerging trends, current and pending legislation, new products and services and innovative ways to enhance profitability and reduce risk.
Schools
Each year the IBA sponsors week-long schools plus a leadership program for the professional growth and development of Iowa bankers. The schools are designed to promote the enhancement of skills and knowledge by focusing on the issues, regulations and requirements in different areas of banking.
Seminars
Live seminars are offered throughout the year on a variety of topics including IRAs, BSA, bank security, call report, cybersecurity and more. Seminars and continuing education classes and self study assists agents in meeting their continuing education requirements.
