Sheridan Builds Culture of Care and Community
Ryan Sheridan, president and CEO of Denver Savings Bank (DSB) and PSB Corporation (bank-holding company), values the impact he gets to make on the others through his work in banking. However, he admits that it can be challenging at times and that it may take work to overcome those challenges. “The banking industry encourages you to do things to help make your community stronger and more vibrant. … Banking is sometimes a bumpy road. It’s important to stay focused and disciplined regardless of the environment,” he said.
Sheridan is proud of the positive changes he’s incorporated into DSB’s culture. He enjoys working with the DSB team and thinks highly of all of them. A part of the culture was built off the idea that Sheridan lives by which is that people should, “just be nice and friendly to others. You never know what someone else is dealing with.”
